Polycarboxylate®Fiber Mac55

Polycarboxylate®Fiber Mac55 is a synthetic macro-fiber for "structural" reinforcement. Its specific properties, including a high tensile strength, substantially improve concrete ductility and resistance to shrinkage, to impact, to fatigue and to bleeding. Tensile and flexural strength of concrete are significantly improved with the use of Polycarboxylate®Fiber Mac55.

Polycarboxylate®Fiber Mac55 is compatible with all concrete and mortar mixes.▪ All types of cement ▪ Precast elements, including heavy precast ▪ High-Performance Concrete ▪ Ready-mix concrete ▪ Slabs and screed, including Self Levelling Screed ▪ Concrete roads, paving and slope stabilization ▪ Pumped concrete ▪ Shotcrete ▪ Bridges, Water Retaining Structures ▪ Tunnel linings

Benefits
Improve concrete ductility and post-cracking resistance ▪ Enhance resistance to shrinkage and bleeding ▪ Improve resistance to impact and fatigue ▪ May reduce costs of steel fibers- and metallic mesh-reinforced concretes ▪ Improve concrete durability ▪ Acid and alkali resistance.

Features

  • Polycarboxylate®Fiber Mac55 is a structural synthetic fiber, specifically designed to increase adhesion with concrete paste. This, added to the fiber high tensile strength, substantially improve concrete ductility, tensile and flexural properties, as well as post-cracking resistance(residual strength after cracking).Polycarboxylate®Fiber Mac55 is a cost-effective alternative to metallic mesh and steel fibers. It is particularly adapted to slabs and shotcrete applications. it spreads evenly in concrete, thus creating a multidirectional network of reinforcement, compared to metallic fibers.
